When you learn to rest in the still quiet place, to observe your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, the people around you, and your circumstances, then you have all the information you need to take excellent care of yourself, choose your next sane and joyful step, and take empowered action.

Dr. Amy Saltzman

I am a holistic physician, mindfulness coach, long-time athlete, devoted student of transformation, author, speaker, wife, mother, occasional poet, and fierce advocate for preventing abuse in sports and other settings.

It is my joy to support people of all ages in enhancing their health, experiencing joy, and finding flow (or perhaps more accurately letting flow find them).

I believe we each have unique gifts and lessons. Connecting with the Still Quiet Place within will allow you to find joy and flow while playing full out, fulfilling your purpose, and serving others.

My peers have recognized me as a visionary and pioneer in the domains of mindfulness for athletes, coaches, and teams, as well as for kids, teens, and parents, and people living lives of meaning and purpose.

My offerings help people in high-performance settings develop the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual skills for finding flow. I offer in-person and online trainings to individuals and to sports and business teams.

One of my passions is working and playing with athletes of all ages and abilities– youth athletes: D1 athletes (including an athlete suffering from multiple injuries who went on to become an NCAA Division 1 MVP, and a PAC-12 freshman of the year); many national champions; elite athletes competing at the international level; and pros. I have shared mindfulness with university teams and athletic departments, and employees and execs from Apple, Google, Stanford, Square, Genetech, US Capital Advisors and others.

My work is inspired by decades of personal study and professional practice in the domains of holistic and integrative medicine, mindfulness coaching, and spiritual transformation.
